ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A 5th-generation Angeleno, civic leader, and founder of the J.L. Edmonds Project, Arianne is dedicated to preserving Black history through her family’s archives, which date back to the 1850s. Her work has been featured in The 1619 Project, The Root, and LA Weekly. She will join NABJLA President Shar Jossell for an intimate Q&A on legacy, resistance, and the power of Black journalism.
