Martine Thompson is a freelance writer covering beauty, culture, mental health, pleasure, and food. Her work examines how people seek connection, comfort, release, and healing in a challenging world. She has been published in ESSENCE, For the Culture Magazine, The LA Times, ELLE, The New York Times, W, and Harper’s Bazaar, among other outlets.
